MTECH MECHANICAL WINS ABC EXCELLENCE IN CONSTRUCTION AWARD FOR NREL ENERGY SYSTEMS INTEGRATION FACILITY
DENVER, CO – On October 18, 2013 MTech Mechanical won the ABC Excellence in Construction (EIC) Excellence Award for best Mechanical Project: Over $10 million for their NREL Energy Systems Integration Facility project. MTech received their award at the 12th Annual Excellence in Construction Awards banquet held at The Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Denver where Excellence and Merit award level winners were honored. This is the first ABC EIC Award win for MTech Mechanical and they will be submitting the project for National ABC EIC Awards in November.
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of ABC recognized the exceptional efforts in Merit Shop Construction and celebrated the entire construction industry during the awards banquet. The EIC awards program provides ABC member general and specialty contractors the arena to showcase their projects that are premier representations of their work. The Rocky Mountain Chapter’s EIC program is patterned after the ABC’s National EIC program and is the first step to compete at the national level. The ABC National EIC Awards will be announced in February 2014 at the Grand Wailea Hotel and Resort in Maui, HI.
