Marco Capitelli, Chief Executive Officer & Chairman of the Board
Chief Executive Officer & Chairman of the Board
Marco is a founding partner of the company and has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. He previously served as president from 2015 to 2025.
Throughout his career, Marco has been a strong advocate for the design-build delivery method and for establishing long-term, trust-based relationships with clients. His passion for collaboration and teamwork has helped shape MTech’s reputation as the leading mechanical design-build-maintain contractor in Colorado.
In his role, Marco will work closely with the Board of Directors and the executive team to establish and implement long-range strategies and goals. His responsibilities also include reinforcing company culture, leadership development and continuation planning, and community engagement efforts.
John Falzone, President & Chief Operating Officer
President & Chief Operating Officer
John plays a key role in guiding the company’s operations, performance goals, and culture. He has been with MTech since 2002, starting as a Preconstruction Manager, and has grown with the company for more than two decades. He has served as COO since 2021.
With a strong engineering background and experience across multiple market sectors, John focuses on practical, client-driven mechanical solutions and seamless project delivery. He works closely with all department leaders to align processes, support cross-team collaboration, and promote the company’s vision and values.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado. Outside of work, John is married with two sons. He enjoys skiing, golfing, tackling a renovation project, and new travel adventures.
Shawn Kennedy, Chief Financial Officer
Chief Financial Officer
Shawn oversees all financial, accounting and insurance functions for MTech. He was previously MTech’s Vice President of Service and President of Total Plumbing & Heating.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Colorado State University.
Shawn enjoys working with like-minded, driven colleagues at MTech. He is passionate about doing the right thing, serving clients and empowering team members to make a difference at the company.
He is married with four children and is involved with his church and not-for-profit youth sports organizations.
Mark McKinney, Executive Vice President

Mark will provide oversight for our Special Projects and Service teams to create consistency and continued growth in these departments. Mark’s proven leadership and ability to integrate people, systems, and client needs make him perfectly suited for this expanded role.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University and participates in several organizations including the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
Mark relishes building healthy relationships at MTech and having a positive influence on the construction industry. He believes in the Design-build construction philosophy because early project team collaboration results in the most successful project outcome for MTech’s customers.
Mark married over 15 years ago and has a son and a daughter. He camps with his family, hunts, fly fishes and enjoys tackling the slopes on a mountain bike, skis or a snowboard.
Rob Dunn, P.E., Executive Vice President

Rob will provide oversight for our regional offices in Southern Colorado, Northern Colorado and will continue to lead our Mountain Team. His experience and knowledge operating a remote office will benefit all regions, ensuring consistency with MTech’s culture and operational excellence. He has been at MTech since 2019 and was previously a project manager in Denver.
Rob has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s of Business Administration (MBA), and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He served five years as an Active Duty Officer in the U.S. Air Force and during his service, he deployed to various locations in the Middle East before transitioning back to civilian life in the construction industry in 2003.
Rob is passionate about building long-term client relationships and mentoring MTech team members to grow and thrive, and creating a fun work environment where teamwork is paramount.
Rob spends his time away from work with his wife of 25+ years and teenage daughter enjoying the abundant outdoor activities living on the Western Slope provides, including skiing, biking, four-wheeling, and fly fishing. He also loves being active at his church.
Steve Donnelly, Vice President, Service
Vice President, Service
Stephen has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry having roles in both Sales and Operations and currently leads MTech’s Service team. He brings a high level of business acumen and passion in creating trusting relationships that strongly align with company culture.
Steve obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of New York at Plattsburgh. Steve is a diverse Executive that possesses a unique talent when working with client relations, cultural development, financial management, and workflow improvement.
He is an incredibly proud member of our Service team and is passionate about his working relationships and continuous improvement.
Outside of MTech, Steve enjoys almost any competitive outdoor adventure. Most free time is spent hiking, bicycling and traveling.
Tal Clark, General Manager Northern Colorado

Tal brings a variety of work experiences from three regions over his 35-year career in the mechanical industry and now currently leads MTech’s newest office, focusing on Northern Colorado. His industry foundation started as an onsite project engineer on larger projects to a special project executive to preconstruction and spans to executive leadership.
He enjoys bringing customized solutions to clients via project teams, especially in unique settings that build and service our community.
Tal holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and completed the University of Denver – Executive Leadership Program.
Tal is family driven with a wonderfully patient wife, and they are blessed with two adult children. While away from work, he enjoys engaging in a variety of outdoor activities with a passion for flying his plane.
Jared Quillen, Construction Manager

Jared is currently a leader in Large Construction Operations where he focuses on developing and leading teams to build MTech’s largest projects. He is also passionate about creating and refining processes throughout the company spearheading a recent Procore integration.
Jared has been part of the MTech team since 2013. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering specializing in Construction Engineering and Management from CU Boulder. After starting his career with a general contractor, he quickly gravitated toward HVAC and plumbing subcontracting.
The draw of Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle brought Jared here in 2004 and he continues to enjoy everything the state has to offer.
Tom Bolda, P.E., Senior Preconstruction Manager
Senior Preconstruction Manager
Tom currently leads our preconstruction efforts, overseeing estimating, engineering, and preconstruction. He has been at MTech since 2011 and in the mechanical industry for over 20+ years. Tom obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
Tom has a passion for design-build procurement and has been an integral part of promoting the turn-key solutions MTech provides on projects with design, build, and maintain capabilities.
Maintaining MTech’s core culture is important to Tom, applying our mission statement (To Build Trusting Relationships, Through Inspired Mechanical Solutions) to everyday experiences with our clients. It is his goal to ensure our clients receive a trustworthy partner in their pursuit to create new experiences for their employees, clients, and patrons. Tom dives into the client’s vision for their construction projects requiring our services, and he develops solutions that align with their own.
Tom has been married for 18 years and has three children. He is an avid fan of all Purdue Sports. Go Boilers! Tom enjoys living an active life with a passion for long-distance running and supporting his children in their respective sports interests.
Matt Rogers, Operations Manager

Matt is currently MTech’s Operation Manager, working with our Purchasing, VDC, Shop Fabrication and Field teams. As he likes to say “these are the wheels that need to spin in the same direction to get the work done successfully.”
Matt has a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Colorado. Matt started at MTech in 2008 as a Project Engineer. When the opportunity arose, he took an onsite role, where he fell in love with the operations side of our company. Working with our teams and creating the plan for success is what led him to project management. As a Project Manager he focused on building relationships with our clients and setting goals for our teams on a project basis. He was very fortunate to work on many memorable projects, but Children’s Hospital Colorado Springs was one that will always remember as our team’s goal was straight forward… “be proud of what we do because our work is going to make a difference in the community.”
In his spare time enjoys talking about his favorite animal, the bison, and escaping to the mountains whenever he can.
Nicholas Siakotos, Risk Manager, Counsel
Risk Manager, Counsel
Nick serves as Counsel and Risk Manager at MTech, where he oversees the company’s legal, compliance, and risk management functions. In his role, he draws on more than 20 years of industry experience to guide and support others, helping them identify and overcome barriers to success while developing strategies that drive lasting results.
Nick attended the University of Notre Dame where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and received his law degree from Indiana University.
He lives his dream job every day and is passionate about helping others achieve their personal goals. Married to a fellow native Hoosier, Nick enjoys exploring the outdoors with his friends and family, woodworking, cooking, virtually all sports and traveling.
Chris Bosacker, Field Operations Manager
Field Operations Manager
Chris Bosacker brings nearly three decades of experience in the mechanical construction industry, having started his career in 1990 and joining MTech Mechanical in 2002. As Field Operations Manager, Chris oversees all field craft professionals across Colorado, including sheet metal, pipefitting, and plumbing teams throughout the Front Range and statewide.
In his role, Chris is responsible for manpower planning, scheduling, safety, and field execution across MTech projects. He works closely with operations team to coordinate resources, align schedules, and support efficient project delivery from preconstruction through completion.
Chris also oversees the success of MTech’s field apprenticeship program, which currently includes over 125 enrolled apprentices. His commitment to training, safety, and workforce development helps ensure the continued growth of skilled trades professionals while maintaining MTech’s high standards of quality and accountability. With a strong focus on operational excellence, collaboration, and safety, Chris plays a vital leadership role in supporting MTech’s field operations and long-term success.
Most of Chris’ life he enjoyed doing outdoor activities as in golfing, hunting, and fishing. Now days, he looks forward to traveling whether that is domestically or abroad.
Joc Tatum, Service Operations Manager
Service Operations Manager
Joc Tatum brings more than 25 years of experience in the mechanical HVAC industry, including 18 years with MTech Mechanical, where he currently leads all service operations. Joc began his career as a service technician and has built deep technical expertise across a wide range of equipment types.
In his role, Joc is responsible for managing service teams, coordinating complex projects, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and within established timelines and budgets. Known for his strong communication skills, he works closely with clients to clearly explain repair needs, maintenance schedules, and proposed solutions, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
Joc’s leadership style emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and proactive planning. His extensive technical training, hands-on field experience, and commitment to operational excellence make him a key leader in delivering reliable, high-quality service to MTech’s customers.
Joc is married (17 years) with two girls. Away from work he enjoys camping, time in the garage restoring and working on cars, and being at the racetrack with friends.
