As part of MTech Mechanical’s continued commitment to our vision and mission, we are pleased to announce strategic leadership transitions and the expansion of our Executive Team. These changes strengthen continuity, support long-term growth, and ensure a seamless transition as the company plans for future leadership retirements.
Effective January 1, 2026, these appointments reflect MTech’s dedication to maintaining strong, consistent leadership while carrying forward our culture, mission, and values.
This is an exciting milestone for MTech Mechanical, and we are proud to recognize the following leaders for their expanded roles and responsibilities.
Chief Executive Officer & Board Chair
Marco Capitelli
Co-founder and President of MTech Mechanical for the past 11 years, Marco Capitelli will transition to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In this capacity, Marco will focus on strategic direction, leadership development and mentoring, and strengthening company culture. He will also continue serving as Board Chair for MTech’s Board of Directors.
President & Chief Operating Officer
John Falzone
John Falzone will assume the combined role of President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). A member of the MTech team since its founding in 2002 and part of the Executive Team since 2015, John brings deep institutional knowledge and a strong understanding of MTech’s operations. In his expanded role, John will lead the Executive Team, oversee day-to-day operations, and continue fostering MTech’s culture.
Executive Vice President Appointments
To support continued growth, alignment, and leadership continuity, MTech Mechanical is introducing two Executive Vice President positions.
Mark McKinney – Executive Vice President
Mark will oversee MTech’s Special Projects and Service teams, driving consistency and continued growth across these departments. His proven leadership and ability to integrate people, systems, and client needs make him well suited for this expanded role.
Rob Dunn – Executive Vice President
Rob will provide oversight for MTech’s Southern Colorado and Northern Colorado regional offices and will continue to lead the Mountain Team. His experience managing remote operations will support alignment, operational excellence, and consistency across all regions.

Effective January 1, 2026, MTech Mechanical is proud to welcome two long-tenured leaders to the Executive Team. Each brings more than 15 years of service and leadership, reflecting the critical role our field and service teams play in the company’s success.

Joc Tatum – Service Operations Manager
Their promotions ensure that operational and service perspectives remain strongly represented at the executive level as MTech continues to grow.
