MTech Recognized as Rockstar Partner by CDPHE Office of Suicide Prevention

,

MTech Mechanical is proud to be recognized as a Rockstar Partner by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE)’s Office of Suicide Prevention! This recognition was received in honor of our 7th Annual Samborski Clay Shoot event held in August. This year’s event brought together 172 participants, 40 volunteers, and support from more than 50 companies all united in the mission of honoring the memory of MTech colleage, friend, and avid outdoorsman, Bill Samborski.

The Office of Suicide Prevention shared in their September newsletter:

The MTech Mechanical Samborski Memorial Clay Shoot Committee is a true Colorado ROCKSTAR for its unwavering commitment to suicide prevention and mental health awareness. On August 29th, 2026, MTech Mechanical held it’s 7th Annual Samborski Memorial Clay Shoot raising $125,000 for four Colorado nonprofit organizations supporting suicide prevention, mental health awareness and critical resources in the communities where our team members live and work. Created in memory of MTech teammate Bill Samborski, the annual event brings together industry partners, team members and supporters around a shared mission to break the stigma surrounding mental health and help connect people with life-saving resources. Since its inception in 2020, the event has raised more than $625,000 for suicide prevention and mental health efforts across Colorado.

MTech Mechanical’s impact extends far beyond just this one event. They bring suicide prevention training, mental health education, and critical resources directly to construction and service professionals—an industry where mental health challenges often go unseen.

The 2026 funds were distributed to four nonprofit partners making a difference in local communities in alignment where MTech Mechanical has offices throughout the state:

The Samborski Memorial Clay Shoot has become a cornerstone of MTech Mechanical’s community engagement, blending camaraderie, outdoor sporting, and meaningful fundraising.
