Project Details
Phase 1 – Wet Labs Building (140,000 square foot new construction) and Phase 2 – MacAllister Building (270,000 square foot renovation) with a 4th-level penthouse and an equipment well on the roof. HVAC system consists of 2 – 340 ton centrifugal chillers, 3 – 4800 MBH boilers, 2 cooling tower cells, 4 AHU, 4 HRU, 8 primary building exhaust fans and a wide variety of specialty exhaust systems for fume hood and misc ventilation.
The CU SEEC Phase 1 Building includes:
- A 3-story building plus a mechanical penthouse
- Mechanical intensive lab project. Includes enhanced commissioning
- Comply with University of Colorado Boulder LEED Gold requirements
The Phase 2 MacAllister Building renovation includes:
- A renovation of a 3-story building with a mechanical penthouse
